The Help For Our Heroes program provides a customized plan to help individuals in this population recover from the traumas they’ve faced and the mental health challenges that stem from them.

After military service, veterans often feel that they lack the same support available to active-duty soldiers. The Help For Our Heroes Program was created in 2017 by military veterans and first responders who understand the unique challenges faced by those who have served. This program provides specialized therapy for veterans with mental health challenges, addiction, and substance use disorders. We also offer treatment options for active-duty military personnel as well as those in reserve.
First responders share a bond with their peers that extends beyond their duties. Because of the tragedies they encounter every day, they often feel their peers are the only ones who will understand the feelings they struggle with. Because of their perceived lack of support, first responders are at an increased risk of abusing substances to cope.

We understand that some individuals may need support beyond a standard outpatient program. For this reason, we offer intensive outpatient programs (IOP) and inpatient residential programs that include medically supervised detox.
Medically supervised detox is provided on-site in a safe and comfortable environment. Our supervising staff is medically trained and constantly monitors patients to ensure they remain comfortable.
